Field Ready's Dara Dotz recently attended and spoke at the SolidWorks World 2018 (4-7 Feb) conference in Los Angeles. As an avid user of Solidworks, Dotz was keen to speak at the event and share how this program has enabled many of our lifesaving designs to come to fruition. Her aim was to not only demonstrate the work that Field Ready is doing in disaster zones, but to share the wider possibilities for disaster relief. By using modern technology, we can get people things faster, better and cheaper.
We have used SolidWorks in many country programs and deployments, from designing pipe-fittings in South Sudan to our recent response to the hurricanes in the USVI. Recently, SolidWorks accompanied us on a response and captured the essence of launching a new program.
