Field Ready is one of three organizations selected in a very competitive global process for a prestigious new initiative from the Humanitarian Innovation Fund: “Accelerating the Journey to Scale”. The initiative is designed to help the most promising innovations through a “missing middle” between successful, proven concepts and widespread adoption in humanitarian response.
This support will accelerate Field Ready’s innovative work in humanitarian supply chains by enabling us to reach more people affected by disaster all around the world. We will be doing this by deploying to a greater number of countries (in responses and reconstruction efforts as well as efforts that involve disaster risk reduction) and developing modularized "kits" to enable local manufacturing production.
The two-year initiative will mean Field Ready can scale up and scale out our innovations in humanitarian response so that humanitarian responders can more readily adopt them and communities can more rapidly benefit from relief.
