Field Ready named Finalist in prestigious Classy Awards!

Field Ready has been selected from 1,300 programs worldwide because we are one of the “100 most innovative nonprofits and social enterprises of 2016.” The organization, Classy.org, is a fundraising platform for social impact organizations. Since 2011, they have enabled millions of people across 300,000 individual campaigns to help fund more than 1,800 organizations.

Classy say “Award Nominees represent an elite pool of innovative programs that have the greatest potential to drive dramatic social change around the world.” The programs are defined by five distinct characteristics:

Criteria 1: Comprehensive understanding of problem dynamics. This means that we know the affected population we aim to help, quantified relative to specific locations, as well understanding contributing factors, such as economic, social, environmental, political or technological issues and how these trends change over time.

Criteria 2: Innovative solution. We have a big vision, exhibit creative entrepreneurial thinking, and pioneer innovative solutions. These include a bold strategy with a creative theory of change, a differentiated approach that distinguishes our model from traditional solutions and a willingness to take risks and embrace experimentation.

Criteria 3: Sustainable business model. We have solutions that are grounded in sustainable business practices. These models leverage both sustainable revenue streams and a plan for sustainability as well as constructive collaborative partnerships.

Criteria 4: Great potential to solve the problem. We are recognized for our ability to fundamentally solve the problem we’re addressing. We are committed to dramatic change – not incremental improvements. We illustrate this potential to drive that change, through:

Clearly demonstrated measurement & evaluation processes

Well-defined growth plan, vision, and end game

Potential to disrupt the current social landscape

Criteria 15: Focus on learning. We are committed to integrating learning as a fundamental component of our day-to-day program operations. We have a culture of learning which embodies data-driven strategies that leverage existing best practices, and we follow Build-Measure-Learn program implementation, with a willingness to embrace failure.

Field Ready looks forward to joining other finalists, participants, partners and staff in Boston, June 14-16.
